Our story

A Shot in the Dark

In Vienna, my son told me a world champion barista had a shop there. We couldn't remember his name. Then, by luck, I walked right past it.

Our story

Don't miss it

You're walking a new city with people you love. A block over, croissants are coming out of the oven. You'll walk right past, and never know.

Our story

So I built Nearly

I didn't want to choose between being present and finding the places I'd love. Tell Nearly what you love, and it taps you on the shoulder when one is close.

— Ray @fatrayeats

Then it taps you on the shoulder.

When one is close, you get a short alert with the place's name and the walk time. Tap it to see the place on the map.

The rest of the time, it stays quiet.

A place alerts once. Nothing from 10 PM to 8 AM. Your exact location stays on your iPhone.

Nearly

Don't walk past what you love.
